Zur Krone – Aldino - Italy
It’s obviously that I have a fondness for South Tyrol, but that’s it! This Restaurant & Hotel is really very beautiful & cozy; the location is warm, family & peculiar.
The small town, called Aldino (Aldein), that host the hotel, is fantastic & offer a great view & a romantic atmosphere with its church at the top of the town with the joined cemetery. It’s worth it to visit it!
Zur Krone is not only a family run restaurant, but it’s also a wonderful hotel with no many rooms but each of them are really confortable, warm & with typical fornitures. Please consider that the rooms doesn’t have Tv..I think that this is a great thing & explain which is the Zur Krone “mission”: to get in touch with nature & yourself! The hotel also offers a Bathing Lounge.
The restaurant is as simple as enjoyable..a very good quality for easy recipes for a very good food selections. You’ll find some typical & classic South Tyrol foods, games (deer or chamois..), please ask for their unique candy walnut & very good desserts like: anise flower sorbet.
Please consider also that this restaurant offer a very good local wine, in particular, my advice is to taste one of the best lagrein: Lagrein Taber (Web Site) - Cantina Bolzano.
