The Restaurant Bagatto is located near Unità d’Italia square, near the sea & in the downtown.
This place is really cool, small & warm, quite & polished, comfortable & reserved.
The waiting service is mainly managed by the owner (Roberto Marussi) who is a young guy that represents the third generation of restaurateurs.
One of the main things that shine through this location is the great passion for local foods, recipes, wines & everything that can praise the hard work for all the small food & wine companies that work around Trieste. Roberto is really passionate & can explain everything about each dish, ingredients, wine & oil, served in his restaurant..I think that this is one of the charme of this restaurant
The menu is really interesting, based on fish or meat, local products, traditional recipes but always revised, sometimes also with curious combinations.
Please consider also that this restaurant offers lots of interesting kind of wine often local & from very small producers.
