Too many time I saw lots of people (tourists & Italian guys) eats mushrooms Porcini, Truffle, artichoke or other foods in seasons where is impossible to find it “fresh”..Please don’t make confusion about fresh & frozen foods..they’re really different & please don’t pay frozen foods as fresh one!

These are the reason why it’s impossible to eat a “porcini risotto” in January..they’re frozen..not fresh..That’s not the Real (& Royal..) Porcini Risotto!

You’ll find also Truffle all year long, but the best truffle is the white one, it’s also the most expensive one, so, please don’t pay (& taste..) truffle outside the white truffle availability period..those are not the best truffle you can eat here in Italy..

So please, remember this post when you’ll visit Italy & when you’ll find restaurants that present you great food picture outside to invite you to eat…some suggestions are impossible!
