Ristorante del Cambio – Torino
Turin is the city were Fiat (FCA) & the Juventus Footbal Club were born, but Turin is also one of the most famous city in Italy for foods!

The restaurant that I want to present is called Ristorante del Cambio and was born in 5 October 1757. its halls, between 1821 and 1861, have witnessed the comings and goings of the men and the women who made the history of Italy and beyond. Cavour was a regular, Casanova, Puccini, Balzac, Nietzsche, Verdi, Marinetti, D'Annunzio, the Agnellis, and the writer Mario Soldati are among the distinguished guests of Del Cambio. This is a restaurant with one star for Michelin guide & also earned the Wine Spectator’s 2017 Best of Award of Excellence for its wine list. I had the pleasure to visit this restaurant during the the truffle season and this is what I taste:
Foie gras burger with nuts & almonds grains
Fresh Salad with Bra sausage and flowers
Fresh Scallop with sautéed spinach, fennel, licorice & boiled chickpeas (absolutely amazing)
Truffle Tagliolini
Roasted Roe with sautéed spinach, marinated egg yolk, grated boiled egg
For every course was purposed a particular wine
To close the dinner I tasted a lovely dessert with chocolate bean
The elegance for every courses, the balance of all the flavors & the young team create an unmissable atmosphere. Don’t loose the chance to visit this restaurant and its amazing bar called Farmacia if you’ll visit Turin.
